The concentration of MMP-2 moderately increased during the 6 months of TB treatment (median: 38,290.0 pg/mL at BL versus 40,080.0 pg/mL at M2 (p < 0.0001) and 41,450.0 at M6 (p = 0.0032)) but did not change between months 6 and 12 (median: 41,450.0 pg/mL versus 42,030.0 pg/mL, p = 0.4417) (Figure 1B). This evidence concerns the gene MMP2 and tuberculosis.
