Having in mind the antioxidant activities of GSTO1 and GSTO2, the results obtained on the effect of GSTO1rs4925, GSTO2 rs156697, and GSTO2rs2297235 genetic variants on the risk for testicular GCT development imply the importance of these SNPs in terms of inter-individual susceptibility to oxidative stress, further defining a unique redox profile in such young population of patients. This evidence concerns the gene GSTO1 and granular cell tumor.
