In the univariable Cox analysis of the variables at AAV diagnosis, age (HR 1.063), male sex (HR 2.702), BMI (HR 1.122), BVAS (HR 1.082), FFS (HR 1.927), serum total protein (HR 0.590), serum albumin (HR 0.369), ESR (HR 1.010), CRP (HR 1.008), and TGF ≥ 3.1 g/dL (HR 2.197) were significantly associated with all-cause mortality during the disease course in AAV patients.
