Figure 7D shows that the protein expression levels of LC3B and PINK1 in the steatosis LO2 cells were significantly lower than those in the normal control group (p < 0.01), while taurine administration to the steatosis LO2 cells up-regulated the protein expression levels of LC3B and PINK1, and it down-regulated the protein expression of p62, indicating that taurine administered to both the FLHS hens and the steatosis LO2 cells can regulate mitochondrial autophagy.
