One Brazilian study has reported the results of BCR::ABL1 molecular monitoring in CML patients, with 60 patients followed from June 2005 until September 2008, with hematological, major cytogenetic, and complete cytogenetic responses achieved by 95%, 75%, and 63% patients, respectively, while 40% of patients achieved a major molecular response in a median time of 8.5 months [44]. This evidence concerns the gene ABL1 and chronic myelogenous leukemia, BCR-ABL1 positive.
