Cazzato et al. reported the case of a 79-year-old woman with a biphasic tumor displaying conventional melanoma areas positive for S100, MelanA, and HMB45 and fields of highly pleomorphic cells almost entirely negative for S100, MelanA, and HMB45 and only focally positive for SOX10 but strongly positive for CD10. This evidence concerns the gene SOX10 and neoplasm.
