Neoductgenesis is a recently defined DCIS feature associated with a few histological determinants of DCIS aggressiveness, such as malignant-type calcifications, nuclear grade 3, negativity for hormone receptors, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) overexpression and higher proliferation index [4,5]. Here, ERBB2 is linked to ductal breast carcinoma in situ.
