To date, the LPAR1 inhibitors BMS-986020 and BMS-986278 have entered clinical trials for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis [21,41], while the LPAR1 inhibitor SAR100842 has been included in clinical trials for reducing skin sclerosis in patients with diffuse cutaneous systemic sclerosis [42]. This evidence concerns the gene LPAR1 and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
