RICTOR and cancer: This finding is in line with the low RICTOR expression in KIRP, COAD, PRAD, and LUSC patients shown in Figure 1A. Further correlation analyses demonstrated that the gene expression of RICTOR was significantly negatively correlated with methylation levels in KIRP, PRAD, and LUSC (Supplementary Figure S2), indicating higher DNA methylation leads to lower gene expression in these cancers.
