The expression of a large number of cell surface adhesion and chemokine molecules (CD11b, CD15, CD11c, CD44, CD54, CCR5), immunomodulatory molecules (PDL1, ILT3, IDO-1, ILT4), molecules involved in antigen recognition (Dectin1, CD206, TLR2, CD14), and molecules important for neutrophil function, costimulation, and antigen presentation (CD16, HLA-DR, MPO, FASL, CD86, NLRP3) on CF neutrophils was analyzed by using flow cytometry and compared with that of control neutrophils. This evidence concerns the gene CCR5 and cystic fibrosis.
