NLRP3 and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis: According to this study, melatonin (10, 20 mg/kg) improves inflammation and other pathophysiological changes in HFD-induced murine NASH via the inactivation of NLRP3 inflammasomes via the suppression of toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4)/nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-kB) pathway and modulation of adenosine triphosphate (ATP)-dependent P2X7 receptor.
