[85] showed that in apoE−/− mice, melatonin 20 mg/kg/day orally for 4 weeks alleviated PM2.5-triggered hepatic steatosis and liver damage by regulating ROS-mediated protein tyrosine phosphatase1B (PTP1B) and nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor (Nrf2) signaling pathways.
