Ixekizumab (Taltz®) is a humanized anti-IL-17A monoclonal antibody that has received approval from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of moderate to severe plaque psoriasis in patients who are candidates for systemic therapy or phototherapy, active psoriatic arthritis, active ankylosing spondylitis, and active non-radiographic axial spondyloarthritis with objective signs of inflammation [4].
