In comparison with the control group, MPS VI patients presented a significant increase of naïve CD4+ T cells (p = 0.0029) and naïve CD8+ T cells (p = 0.0037), with a concomitant decrease in central memory CD4+ T cells (p = 0.0004) and effector memory CD8+ T cells (p = 0.03) (Figure 2D–I).
