Table 1 highlights the cancer cell lines that did not respond to IMT1 treatment. By comparison, when the same cell lines were treated with ClpP agonists, their proliferation was clearly inhibited. For example, comparing responses in the breast cancer model MDA-MB-231 cells, IMT1 poorly inhibited growth (IC50 >30 μM), while all the ClpP agonists tested were highly effective at much lower concentrations (Table 1).
