A recent meta-analysis, which included 47 studies (up to January 2019) with 8382 NPC patients (NPC group) and 15,089 individuals without NPC (control group) using Chinese data libraries, concluded that EBV-DNA, VCA-IgA, EBNA1-IgA, and Rta-IgG were useful in early diagnosis, with EBV-DNA having higher diagnostic accuracy [23].
