The effects on post-MI cardiac fibrosis as well as the expression of several fibroinflammatory gene profile, including those encoding ACTA2, Arginase 1, CCL2, CD38, Col1A1, Col3A1, EGR2, Lgals3, IL1B, IL4, IL6, IL10, MMP9, NOS2, PPARγ, STAT6, TGFβ1 and TNF-α, were similar with L-Ac-SDKP compared to free Ac-SDKP both in vitro and in vivo.
