When we attempted to perform the pull-down assay using C6 glioma cell lysates and Strep-tagII-S100A13, a member of the S100A family in the absence of Ca2+, ANXA2 dimer was detected, while in the presence of 100 μM Ca2+, higher amounts of ANXA2 dimer and β-actin were detected. Here, S100A13 is linked to central nervous system cancer.
