The amplification of 1q21.3 occurs in all the BC subtypes [29], which is consistent with the amplification of the HRNR, FLG2, CRCT1, and KPRP genes in ER+, HER2+, and TN BCs (Figure 2A), suggesting that taxifolin or other mechanisms inducing HRNR, FLG2, CRCT1, and KPRP expressions could also be used as targeted therapies for TNBCs. This evidence concerns the gene KPRP and breast cancer.
