However, knockdown of SLC6A6 and SLC6A8 did not diminish the promoting effect of GAA on pancreatic cancer cell migration (Fig. S2E), possibly because these cells have a greater dependence on passive diffusion of extracellular GAA or de novo GAA synthesis than on the expression of SLC6A6 and SLC6A8.
