To establish a mouse model of retinal angiogenesis by oxygen-induced retinopathy (OIR), mouse pups of CX3CR1-GFP mice were exposed to hyperoxia (75% oxygen) from postnatal day 7 (P7) to P12 to induce vaso-obliteration, and then returned to room air. This evidence concerns the gene CX3CR1 and retinal disorder.
