MAGEL2 and Prader-Willi syndrome: Indeed there are several cases of high fever similar to septic shock but with no infections or severe hypothermia in children and adolescents with PWS [14,18,19], as well as in Shaaf-Yang Syndrome (SSY), which has several overlapping features with PWS but is caused by pathogenic/truncating variants of MAGEL2 and the diagnosis of ASD is more frequent [20].
