To investigate the mechanism underlying how PQQ activates Nrf2‐ARE signaling, human BM‐MSCs isolated from aged osteoporosis patients were treated with indicated concentrations of PQQ for 24 h, and the expression levels of Nrf2 and Keap1 (the main regulator of Nrf2) were detected using Western blot and real‐time PCR. This evidence concerns the gene KEAP1 and osteoporosis.
