ALB and sarcopenia: Those with higher age, physical weakness (lower handgrip strength and slower gait speed), psychological deterioration (lower cognitive function and depressive symptoms), and lower serum albumin and hemoglobin levels were more likely to exhibit sarcopenia onset; however, differences were minimal for gait speed, cognitive function, depressive symptoms, and blood test results (lower serum albumin, total cholesterol, and hemoglobin level).
