Several autism-associated genes such as SCN2A, ASH1L and ANK2 had the highest number of S-LoFs identified among individuals with autism (Fig. 1b), but they displayed distinct frequencies of S-LoFs among undiagnosed individuals, therefore displaying distinct autism ORs (for example, SCN2A = Inf.; ASH1L = 150.1; and ANK2 = 7.4). This evidence concerns the gene ASH1L and autism.
