More specifically, an advanced age (≥70 years), elevated levels of leukocytes (≥9.5 × 109/L) and elevated concentrations of CRP (≥90 mg/L), GGT (≥30 U/L), and PCT (≥0.5 ng/mL) at admission were found to be associated with a higher risk for COVID-19 progression to severe disease.
