PBX3 and colorectal cancer: Interestingly, common upregulated long 3’UTR genes include C11orf54 and STARD3NL, which are involved in exosome functions (58, 59) and TMEM265, whose expression is negatively correlated with tumor-infiltrating immune cells (60), while upregulated short 3’UTR genes include PBX3 (Figure 4C), which is associated with inflammation and promotes migration and invasion of colorectal cancer cells (61–63).
