We found that 10 genes (PPP2R1A, STAT3, ADPGK, OGT, EIF6, PRKACB, MLXIPL, PRKACA, HIF1A, and GALK1) in the ‘glycolysis‐27‐gene set’ were prognostic markers for melanoma (Fig. S4C), of which 6 genes conferred favorable prognosis (ADPGK, HIF1A, STAT3, OGT, MLXIPL, and PRKACB; Fig. S4C, red) thus were tumor suppressive, and 4 genes predicted poorer prognosis (PRKACA, PPP2R1A, EIF6, GALK1; Fig. S4D, blue) thus were oncogenic. The gene discussed is HIF1A; the disease is neoplasm.
