The results (Fig. 6B) show that there were significant increases in Phospholamban (Pln), Fatty acid binding proteins 3 (Fabp3), Tripartite Motif-containing Protein 63 (Trim63), Popeye domain containing 2 (Popdc2), and Troponin C1 (Tnnc1) gene expression in DCM compared to control (P ≤ 0.05). The gene discussed is TNNC1; the disease is familial dilated cardiomyopathy.
