Focusing on signaling pathways, our analyses found that proteins impacted by epiHSP70s in MDA-MB-468 cancer cells would result in activation of constitutive EGFR signaling, activated AKT and PTEN stabilization, oncogenic MAPK signaling, non-canonical NFκB signaling, constitutive NOTCH1 signaling, RhoGTPase activation of formins, β-catenin defective regulation, toll-like receptor cascades and aberrant death receptor signaling. This evidence concerns the gene NOTCH1 and cancer.
