Tocilizumab, a humanized anti-IL-6 receptor monoclonal antibody, is used to treat various autoimmune diseases such as RA and AOSD.[1,2] AOSD is an autoinflammatory disorder of unknown etiology characterized by high spiking fever, rash, arthritis, and lymphadenopathy.[10] As recent studies have shown the importance of IL-6 in its pathogenesis, tocilizumab is now used for the treatment of refractory AOSD.[11] Our patient had AOSD for 15 years and underwent treatment with various medications, including prednisolone and cyclosporine; however, these therapies could not control her disease. Here, IL6 is linked to Lymphadenopathy.
