CRP and breast cancer: Figure 9A shows that NLR has received significant attention in the last two years. In addition, many of the 50 most cited papers in the previous ten years investigated the relationship between NLR and BC prognosis (60–62) (Figure 8). C-reactive protein (CRP) is another inflammation-related biomarker. CRP is part of the innate immune system and has received a great deal of scholarly attention in inflammation and BC. A study by Gakis,Georgios demonstrated the prognostic impact of CRP on BC and has been heavily cited in the last decade (63).
