In contrast, the proteins such as Apolipoprotein A-IV (APOA4), Mannose-binding protein C (MBL2) and CD44 antigen (Fragment) (CD44) were found to be downregulated in newly diagnosed TB patients (Group 2) as compared to healthy controls (Group 1) (Fig. 2b, c and Table 4).
