Dysregulated expression of Nat10 has been recently linked to numerous diseases, such as Hutchinson–Gilford progeria syndrome (HGPS)52, epithelial ovarian cancer53, breast cancer19, and spermatogenesis22, and is most recently implicated in oocyte in vitro maturation (IVM)54. This evidence concerns the gene NAT10 and Hutchinson-Gilford progeria syndrome.
