RNAi is used to prevent the overexpression of Interleukin-8/IL-8 by gene silencing in the case of pancreatic cancer, the efficacy of which is found to increase when GDNDs were used for the delivery of RNAi by Panwar et al. They prepared nanorods with positive zeta potential which can be easily attached to the negatively charged siRNA. This evidence concerns the gene CXCL8 and familial pancreatic carcinoma.
