In resting and BLM-treated RICTOR KO cells expressing ∼0.3 level of Rictor compared to WT cells, phosphorylation of pS422 in SGK1 and pS473 in AKT1 were undetectable (Fig. 6F), supporting DNA-PK working upstream mTORC2 as illustrated by the indirect pathway-1 of Figure 6D. This evidence concerns the gene RICTOR and Bloom syndrome.
