To more accurately examine the function of Dectin-1, renal tissues were subjected to double immunofluorescence staining for Dectin-1 and markers of macrophages (CD68), glomerular cells (Wt1, Wilms Tumor), and renal tubular cells (AQP1, Aquaporin 1) to determine the distribution of Dectin-1 in the kidney. The gene discussed is CD68; the disease is Wilms tumor.
