MARCKSL1 was found to be a tumor-associated protein (TAA), and its expression in the plasma of sporadic colorectal cancer (sCRC) patients was significantly higher than that of healthy people (the aAbs constituting the sCRC immunome presented mean FC values = 2.4 > 1.5, with more than 88% of sCRC patients showing FC values > 1), but it was not good at distinguishing metastatic and nonmetastatic colorectal cancer. The gene discussed is MARCKSL1; the disease is colorectal cancer.
