HNF4A and cancer: In this research, we demonstrate that AMPK activates HNF4α directly targeting Bcl-2 to exert an anti-apoptotic effects, thereby alleviating neuronal injury in the hippocampal CA1 region of rats, and clearly identified the binding site of HNF4α and Bcl-2, which provides a new therapeutic target for the treatment of brain injury caused by CA.
