Experimental results showed that colorectal cancer cells stably expressing TCF4 or knocking down TCF4 were subcutaneously injected into athymic nude mice, causing an increase or decrease in xenograft tumor growth (Fig. 4F), weight (Figure S1C), MKI67/Ki-67 (marker of proliferation Ki-67) index and PECAM1/CD31 (platelet and endothelial cell adhesion molecule 1)-positive microvessels (Fig. S1D).
