This finding was also confirmed by another experiment using ultra-performance liquid chromatograph quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (UPLC-Q-TOF/MS)–based lipidomic analysis to identify disordered lipid metabolites in stroke, where Cer (d18:1/16:0), Cer (d18:1/18:0), and Cer (d18:0/18:0) were significantly increased, while very-long-chain Cer (d18:1/24:1) was significantly downregulated after MCAO (Wang et al., 2022). This evidence concerns the gene CBLN1 and Stroke.
