RNPC3 and cancer: Aberrant formation or persistence of such RNP granules has been implicated in the pathogenesis of many human diseases, including neurodegeneration and cancer (Guillén-Boixet et al. 2020; Shorter 2019; McSwiggen et al. 2019; Marmor-Kollet et al. 2020; Seiler et al. 2018; Desterro, Bak-Gordon, and Carmo-Fonseca 2020) Defining the RNP composition at the interchange of such granules across life-cycle steps could elucidate disease mechanisms.
