To further investigate whether antibodies are involved in the pro-hypertensive effects of B cells, it would be interesting in future studies to determine if adoptive transfer of immunoglobulins from hypertensive mice can induce hypertension in recipient mice, or conversely whether bacterial antibody-hydrolyzing enzymes (32) can prevent angiotensin II-induced increases in systolic blood pressure. This evidence concerns the gene AGT and Hypertension.
