Herein we have determined that although all samples exhibited measurable IgG, sAb, and IgG HA titers, these titers were not significantly boosted by vaccination, with the exception of IgG titers against one HA immunogen, B/Phuket, which notably, has been included in seasonal influenza vaccine in the Northern hemisphere since 2015 and therefore it is likely that individuals exhibit heightened reactivity to this HA due to its reoccurring inclusion in the seasonal vaccine and/or increased likelihood of infection with this strain over time. This evidence concerns the gene SH3BP5 and influenza.
