The authors have speculated that EZH2 is responsible for the regulation of miR-129-5p/SOX4 axis, since EZH2-specific methyltransferase inhibitor tazemetostat triggered miR-129-5p diminution and reactivation of SOX4 in drug-resistant melanoma cell lines (Gebhardt et al., 2021).
