IL6 and bacterial infectious disease: The 28-day mortality was higher and the hospitalization time, ICU stay and mechanical ventilation time of patients in the low-LYM-5d and high-IL-6 group were longer than those of patients in the non–low-LYM-5d and high-IL-6 group; the incidence of secondary bacterial infections during the disease course was also higher, and the differences were statistically significant (Table 3).
