TNF and psoriasis: Ahn et al. conducted WGCNA on the RNA-seq results of skin samples from psoriasis patients (pre- and post-treatment with the TNF-α inhibitor adalimumab) and healthy controls and determined that > 50% of co-expressed genes in most of the psoriasis- and treatment-associated network modules were lncRNAs; therefore, the authors speculated that lncRNAs are critical in regulation pathways involved in psoriasis pathogenesis [38].
