CRP and diabetes mellitus: After adjustment for other factors, BMI (OR: 1.11, 95% CI: 1.01–1.22, P = 0.033), diabetes (OR: 2.70, 95% CI: 1.11–6.60, P = 0.029), smoking history (OR: 3.04, 95% CI: 1.15–8.02, P = 0.025), higher ferritin levels (OR: 3.31, 95% CI: 1.78–6.17, P < 0.001), higher hs-CRP levels (OR: 1.96, 95% CI: 1.02–3.77, P = 0.044), and higher CT3 + T cells (OR: 1.99, 95% CI: 1.10–3.58, P = 0.022) remained statistically significant.
