Pathways related to synaptic membrane components were selectively upregulated in a cell type-specific manner in neurons of 3xTg-AD mice exposed to alcohol versus 3xTg-AD mice and WT mice with and without alcohol exposure, including in L6 CT, L6b, Lamp5, and parvalbumin, and Meis2 interneurons. This evidence concerns the gene MEIS2 and Alzheimer disease.
