In FISH and qRT‒PCR following cytoplasm/nuclear fractions assays, the results showed that AFAP1-AS1 is mainly distributed in the cytoplasm of both TNBC and FA primary cells (Figs. 2C and 2E), using 18S and U6 as cytoplasm and nuclear positive control. This evidence concerns the gene AFAP1 and Friedreich ataxia.
