Consistently, we also observed a restoration of EMT following NLRP3 silencing in DDP-resistant ovarian cancer cells in this study, as proved by the elevated level of E-cadherin and the reduced level of N-cadherin, vimentin, and fibronectin, suggesting that NLRP3 knockdown might alleviate resistance towards ovarian cancer via reversing EMT. This evidence concerns the gene NLRP3 and ovarian carcinoma.
